Lesley Berman’s blanched, tubby little body rocked like a Japanese gelatin dessert, when huge hands slid his box out of its cubby-hole. Garish light filled his container, revealing serious work done on one-quarter of the banana (now brown and gummy) and the grub-like human lying on his back and gasping for breath. Narrow eyes squinted disapprovingly into the container.
