I breathed for a while, staring at her ceiling, glancing at the valley of her thighs. She’d scooted far back enough that her legs no longer hung over the bed.

I guess there was no reason for her to let me go. I don’t mean that this strange woman would release me into the public or give me back my freedom (right at that moment). I mean, there really wasn’t any reason for her to pinch me in her toes and lift up her leg to hold me aloft and then let me drop.
