I’m very excited about what’s been going on lately. Trying not to see it as spreading myself too thin; framing it as riding the momentary creative wave.

I’ve got this blog, which is somewhat neglected and could use some new stories. I haven’t taken much time to write fiction, however, though I’ve been writing in other areas. Ever the fan of community education, I finished the class on starting a podcast and am in the middle of one on subscription newsletters. There’s only a few of us in the class, which is great because we can all get to know each other very well and talk comfortably.

For instance, the instructor and the other student in the newsletter course already know me from the podcast class, where I was very clear about my Size Fantasy podcast intentions. It was difficult to break into originally, but I challenged myself to perceive everyone as intelligent, mature adults, and… it’s fine. We don’t have to talk about sexual issues, just the techniques and mechanism of building a podcast and newsletter, for a sexual fetish audience. It’s fine.

We’re three episodes deep on the podcast, zHeightgeist. Please check it out: you can listen on the website or find it on several other podcast platforms. I upload it to Spotify, I found it on Audible, and iHeart and Pocket Casts (my preferred platform) both grab it. I had to replace the audio file for the third episode, because the recording was shitty and it embarrassed me, and all the platforms were very accommodating in getting the new, improved audio file distributed.

The podcast also appears on YouTube, just a static image with a nice recording and transcription of the show. I also have an Instagram account… here, you can find everything on this convenient “link-in-bio” function, put out by Bitly. Looks nicer than Linktree. And if you like the podcast, please do share it with others. That’s the most important thing, making it known, spreading the word.

The newsletter, That’s About the Size of It (thanks to my wife for both titles), is unsteady and feeling its way around. It’ll be a vehicle for me to share any Size-adjacent news and updates I’m privy to, and I’ll probably end up sharing my opinion there, too. Have to be careful about that, I want to be a positive figure rather than someone that other people come to dread. But as I get older and see more things and the culture of the world races beyond my ability to comprehend it, I’m less playful and flexible than I was in college. There’s a time and place to be the curmudgeon, but they aren’t “everywhere” and “always.”

But I want to get back to writing stories, too. Shouldn’t be too hard: the podcast comes out biweekly, which is plenty of time to plan and refine an episode. I decided to make it very easy for myself, at least to start with. I’m still playing with Starry AI and Chat GPT, telling stories that way, and once in a while I relearn Daz Studio and chunk out a few images, usually for a holiday like Int’l Giantess Day or Buttcrush Days.

I’m excited about where things are going. Trying to push out thoughts like how long it can last, countdown until I say something unpopular, etc. And I definitely don’t have a plan for where this is going: I don’t have aims to become a media mogul, and I’m not going to earn any money doing this. It’s just fun, something to do until I die.
