May is nearly up and it’s time to think about the next size-fantasy writing contest, taking place in July. January is always Cruel and April is always Gentle, but July and October are up for grabs. And one thing I love to do is accept sign-ups for the next contest before the topic is announced, just to make things extra chaotic.

So, please, fill out this simple, one-question poll on what the next topic should be for the intrepid size-fantasy flash fiction writers. Suggestions will be accepted through June 10, and then I’ll post a ballot of topics for everyone to vote on. The most popular subject or theme will be announced on June 24, and the writers will discover what they’ve gotten into.

To iterate: the topic will not be decided until June 24, but sign-ups will happen throughout the entire month of June.
