I’ve been thinking a long, long time about what went on with me.

The trajectory from gaining this giant-woman fixation in childhood, shifting to being a tiny man concurrent with my self-esteem in middle school, what the Giantess provided that my upbringing did not. Giving giant women agency, the tiny man as Other, exposing the politics present in Size Fantasy writing, and then … going off alone on a mystical journey into heathen Scandinavian spirituality, which I imagine has some people questioning my mental stability.

Discovering the Size Fantasy forums in the hoary dawn of the internet. Writing my own work, taking it seriously as a craft. Supporting Size Twitter, the writing contest, the podcast. The fallout, the grieving, and not knowing where to go from there. I’ve been meditating on how to release this graveyard I’m dragging behind me, and I’ve had a revelation about what the Giantess actually represents, Her role in my life. I’m struggling to lay all this out in an coherent way that doesn’t require university credentials to access.

In the meantime, however, it looks like I got something published.

Allium, A Journal of Poetry & Prose is published by Columbia College Chicago.

Go to the Current Issue, scroll down to find “Aborigen,” and … caveat lector.
